HARVEST Clean Eats Partners with Too Good To Go App to Reduce Food Waste

Halifax, NS, March 29, 2024 / HARVEST Clean Eats is excited to announce its partnership with Too Good To Go, a leading platform dedicated to reducing food waste. This partnership has been implemented in all HARVEST locations across Atlantic Canada, allowing customers to purchase surplus food at a discounted price, helping to combat food waste and promote sustainability.

The Too Good To Go app connects customers with local businesses, including restaurants and cafes, to rescue surplus food that would otherwise go to waste. By purchasing a "surprise bag" through the app, customers can enjoy a selection of unsold food items at a reduced price.

Baylee Hood, Director of Operations & Training at HARVEST Clean Eats, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, "Partnering with the Too Good To Go app not only resonates deeply with our core values but also  allows us to take meaningful action towards a more sustainable future."

The partnership with Too Good To Go is part of HARVEST's ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and responsible waste management. HARVEST is in the process of implementing various sustainability initiatives, including biodegradable cutlery, offering discounts on drinks to customers who bring their clean reusable cups, and engaging in community initiatives with our franchise partners to improve our environmental impact further.

HARVEST Clean Eats customers can now download the Too Good To Go app and purchase surprise bags to enjoy delicious food while helping to reduce food waste.
